While some of our team would admittedly break out in a sweat eating donuts, a number of NHR's volunteers will be running the Robin Hood Half Marathon on Sunday 11th September. These volunteers (yes, they really did volunteer to run), will not only be running lengths of the route but also taking a hospital bed and mannequin with them! We're not making this up...
So why don't you show your support for your local hospital radio station? We provide a combination of dedicated radio programming and ward visits in order to make a patent's stay in hospital that bit more bearable. While we're not paid to do it, keeping a radio service on air is not free of charge. All we're asking is that you send some of your spare change our way when you see the team go past with the bed. Or, if you can't make it on the day, why not show your support by sending a donation using the button on the left?

Support NHR
NHR is Nottingham's very own hospital radio station and provides much a much needed service to patients. Whether it's on air or even simply visiting the wards, you'd be amazed at what a difference it can make to someone's day.
However, while we're all volunteers, keeping a radio service on air does not come free of charge. And that's where you come in. A small donation towards keeping the service on air would really help us out.
So, go on. Support your local hospital radio station.
